Description
The Simple Clinometer (Inclinometer) for Angle Measurement, also known as an angle-of-incline measuring device, is designed for measuring the angle of incline or decline from the observer to an object. The observer looks through the viewing tube and places the object in the centre of the sight at the opposite end. This helps align the instrument before taking the angle reading. A button is pressed to release the swinging pendulum, which is graduated in degrees. After a short stabilisation time, the button is released to clamp the pendulum firmly in position. The angle of incline or decline can then be read from the scale, making the instrument useful for classroom demonstrations and practical field-style measurement activities.
This product is suitable for school science laboratories, university teaching laboratories, geography classes, physics lessons and STEM activities involving angle measurement, slopes and basic surveying concepts. Users should confirm the sighting method, reading procedure, object visibility, measurement distance and supervision requirements before use. Use care when sighting objects outdoors or in busy areas. Do not use while walking, near traffic, near edges or in unsafe fieldwork locations.
This product is intended for laboratory or educational settings only and should be used under appropriate supervision. This item is supplied as the simple inclinometer / clinometer only. Measuring tapes, tripods, field notebooks, calculators, worksheets and additional surveying accessories are not included unless specified separately.
LabChoice Australia supplies Simple Inclinometers and science teaching instruments for school science laboratories, university teaching laboratories and educational facilities requiring practical tools for angle, slope and incline measurement.
