The Magnetic Field Demonstrator, Oil Filled Flat Form, also known as a magnetic field line demonstrator, is designed for practical physics teaching and classroom demonstrations of magnetic field patterns. This transparent flat demonstrator is filled with glycerin and iron filings, allowing students to observe how the filings respond when a magnet is placed on top of the unit. When a suitable magnet is positioned above the demonstrator, the iron filings align into visible patterns that help show the shape and direction of the magnetic field. The flat form is suitable for overhead projector use, making it practical for teacher-led demonstrations where the magnetic field pattern needs to be shown to a full classroom.
