Description
The Biological Digestive System Model on Board, Life Size, also known as a human digestive tract teaching model, is designed for biology, anatomy and human body education in laboratory and classroom settings. This life size model shows the human digestive tract from the mouth cavity to the rectum, helping students understand the sequence, position and relationship of major digestive organs. The model is listed as 5 parts and is made from high-quality PVC, supporting practical classroom demonstration, visual inspection and repeated educational handling.
The oral cavity, pharynx and first part of the oesophagus are dissected along the medial sagittal plane, allowing students to observe key upper digestive tract structures. The liver is shown together with the gall bladder, while the pancreas is dissected to expose internal features for clearer anatomy teaching. The stomach is open along the frontal plane, and the duodenum, caecum, part of the small intestine and the rectum are open to expose interior structure.
The transverse colon is removable, supporting closer inspection during supervised lessons and anatomy demonstrations. An additional relief model of the head shows the anatomy of the mouth with salivary glands, helping connect oral anatomy with the wider digestive system. The listed dimensions are 90 × 30 × 13 cm, with an approximate weight of 1900 g, making it suitable for classroom display, practical demonstrations and teaching laboratory use. This model can be used alongside diagrams, worksheets, textbooks and approved curriculum activities to support lessons on digestion, organ structure, digestive tract anatomy and human body systems.
Users should handle the removable parts carefully and reassemble the model after use to reduce the risk of damage, missing parts or surface wear. This product is intended for laboratory or educational settings only and should be used under appropriate teacher or laboratory supervision. This item is supplied as the Biological Digestive System Model on Board only. Charts, worksheets, wall fittings, stands and additional teaching accessories are not included unless specified separately. This product is a teaching model only and is not intended for medical diagnosis, clinical training, patient assessment or professional anatomical measurement.
LabChoice Australia supplies Biological Digestive System Models for school science laboratories, biology classrooms, university teaching laboratories and general education environments requiring practical visual aids for human anatomy and digestive system education.
