Description
The Air Track Stop Block, Heavy Cast Iron, also known as an air track heavy stop block, is designed for compatible air track systems used in physics and mechanics experiments. This stop block is made from heavy cast iron and is intended to fix to a compatible felt lined support using suitable screw and nut hardware. It is used as a defined stop or boundary component during approved air track activities involving motion, dynamics, velocity, acceleration and collision demonstrations. The heavy cast construction helps provide a stable stopping point where a compatible air track setup requires a fixed stop block arrangement.
Users should confirm the air track model, felt lined support type, fixing screw and nut compatibility, stop block position and experiment method before ordering or use. The stop block should be fitted securely before the air track is operated. Do not use if the block, support, screw, nut or mounting point is loose, damaged or incompatible. Keep hands, loose clothing and fragile items clear of moving gliders and stop block impact areas during air track operation.
