Description
The Digital Brix Refractometer, also known as a digital sugar refractometer, is designed for measuring soluble solids concentration and refractive index in compatible aqueous liquid samples. This DR-102 Brix refractometer measures Brix from 0.0 to 90.0%, making it suitable for low to high concentration sugar-based samples. The refractive index range is listed as 1.3330 to 1.5177 nD. The Brix mode provides 0.10% resolution with listed accuracy of ±0.2%. The refractive index mode provides 0.0001 nD resolution with listed accuracy of ±0.0003 nD.
The unit includes automatic temperature compensation, with the specification listing ATC from 10 to 50°C. Users should confirm the required ATC operating range before use, as supplied information may also reference other compensation conditions.
This digital refractometer is suitable for measuring fruit juice, syrup, puree, soft drinks, coffee drinks, cocoa drinks, water-soluble cutting oil, water-soluble washing solutions and other compatible aqueous samples. The digital display provides quick and clear readings, making it practical for laboratory testing, food science demonstrations, production checks and educational workflows where Brix or refractive index measurement is required. The instrument body is listed as plastic, with approximate weight of 341 g. It has an IP65 waterproof rating, supporting practical use in suitable laboratory and sample testing environments.
The package list includes 1 instruction manual, 1 Brix refractometer, 1 suction cup and 1 plastic dropper. The unit is powered by a 1.5 V AAA battery, which is not included. Users should calibrate the refractometer according to the approved method before use and clean the sample area after each measurement to avoid residue build-up or cross-contamination.
This product is intended for laboratory or educational settings only and should be used under appropriate supervision. It is not intended for medical diagnosis, treatment or clinical decision-making. This item is supplied as the digital Brix refractometer set only. Battery, calibration solution, sample containers, cleaning tissue and additional accessories are not included unless specified separately.
