Description
The Fixed PSSC Type Power Supply, also known as a Mass of an Electron experiment power supply, is designed for educational physics experiments based on the older PSSC science teaching method. This low-cost fixed output power supply is intended for use with the Mass of an Electron experiment and compatible Magic Eye tube apparatus. It uses a 12 V AC input and is not connected directly to mains voltage. The input is listed as 12 V AC, 50/60 Hz. A suitable external 12 V AC source is required to operate the unit.
The power supply provides DC outputs for running the anode/cathode circuit of the Magic Eye tube. The product title refers to 100/200 V DC output, while the detailed specification lists 100 V DC and 250 V DC at no load. Users should confirm the required experiment voltage and apparatus compatibility before use. Two DC output sets are provided for the higher voltage anode/cathode circuit.
