Description
The Hipipette Fully Autoclavable Colour-Coded Single-Channel Mechanical Pipette, also known as an adjustable single-channel micropipette, is designed for accurate 100 to 1000 µL liquid transfer in molecular biology, microbiology, biotechnology, biochemistry, pharmaceutical research, analytical and university teaching laboratories. Its medium-volume range supports routine sample preparation, reagent addition, buffer transfer and individual liquid-handling procedures.
Volume can be adjusted in 1 µL increments across the specified working range. This setting resolution supports controlled liquid transfer where laboratories need repeatable medium-volume aspiration and dispensing into compatible tubes, microplates, reservoirs and sample containers.
Performance is tested at 1000 µL, 500 µL and 100 µL. At 1000 µL, the stated systematic error is ±6.00 µL or ±0.6%, with a random error of ±2.00 µL or ±0.2%. At 500 µL, the systematic error is ±5.00 µL or ±1.0%, with a random error of ±1.00 µL or ±0.2%. At 100 µL, the systematic error is ±3.00 µL or ±3.0%, with a random error of ±0.60 µL or ±0.6%.
The ergonomic design uses an ultra-light body weighing less than 100 g to support a smoother and more comfortable pipetting experience. A first-stop force of 4 N and second-stop force of 10 N help provide comfortable single-handed aspiration and dispensing during repetitive laboratory procedures.
A new piston structure and screw mechanism support precise aspiration and dispensing, while the one-button volume lock helps prevent pipetting errors caused by accidental adjustment. The smooth and tactile volume setting mechanism supports confident operation during daily liquid-handling workflows.
The colour-coded scale allows users to identify the required pipette range quickly when several pipettes are stored at the same workstation. This helps reduce the risk of selecting the wrong volume range, supports clearer laboratory organisation and can simplify training for new laboratory personnel.
The pipette is fully autoclavable without disassembly and is suitable for UV sterilisation, supporting contamination-control procedures in shared and routine laboratory environments. It is also designed with materials that support resistance to chemical corrosion. Autoclaving, UV exposure, cooling and performance verification should follow the confirmed manufacturer instructions.
A separate filter is supplied to help reduce the entry of volatile reagent vapours into the pipette body. This helps protect the piston system from contamination, over-aspiration effects and corrosion caused by improper operation. The pipette is also easy to disassemble for periodic maintenance, calibration and repair using the supplied accessory tools.
LabChoice Australia supplies this Fully Autoclavable Single-Channel Mechanical Pipette for molecular biology, microbiology, biotechnology, biochemistry, pharmaceutical research, analytical testing, environmental testing, university teaching and general life-science laboratories. It is suitable for routine 100 to 1000 µL sample transfer, reagent dispensing, buffer preparation, dilution work and assay setup using compatible pipette tips and validated laboratory procedures.
