Description
The Variable Speed Tube Rotator, also known as a digital multi angle laboratory tube mixer, is designed for efficient sample mixing in molecular biology, biochemistry, clinical, histochemistry, research and teaching laboratories. It supports gentle rotation of compatible tubes where consistent mixing, resuspension or sample preparation is required. The unit operates at a rotation speed range of 10 to 40 rpm, allowing users to select a suitable speed for different tube types, sample volumes and mixing requirements. The digital display supports clear operating visibility during routine bench use.
The interchangeable rotisserie paddle system allows the rotator to work with a variety of tube sizes. The four rotisserie paddles can be mixed within the same setup, helping laboratories prepare different tube combinations without needing a separate mixer for each tube format. Each paddle direction can be independently adjusted from 0 to 90 degrees. This multi angle adjustment supports different mixing positions and helps users adapt the motion to the sample type, tube size and laboratory method.
The rotator can also be programmed to operate in a back and forth oscillating mode that simulates hand mixing. Oscillation occurs at every 40 degrees during rotation, combining rotational movement and oscillation to support more effective liquid mixing than rotation alone. The listed tube capacity includes 84 × 0.5 mL tubes, 60 × 1.5 mL or 2.0 mL tubes, 28 × 5 mL or 7 mL tubes, 24 × 10 mL tubes and 6 × 50 mL tubes. The standard configuration includes paddles for 10 mL and 15 mL tubes, 5 mL and 7 mL tubes, 1.5 mL and 2 mL tubes, 0.5 mL and 0.8 mL tubes, plus one paddle for 50 mL tubes. The compact plug and play design supports routine placement on the laboratory bench. The high-quality maintenance-free motor provides quiet operation for repeated daily mixing workflows in shared laboratory environments.
LabChoice Australia supplies this Variable Speed Tube Rotator for molecular biology laboratories, biochemistry laboratories, clinical laboratories, histochemistry laboratories, research facilities, university teaching laboratories and general sample preparation workspaces. It is suitable for tube mixing, sample resuspension, reagent blending and gentle liquid mixing using compatible tubes and validated laboratory procedures.
