The Stainless Steel Mouth Blow Pipe, also known as a laboratory blowpipe or mouth blowpipe, is designed for directing a controlled stream of air during compatible laboratory and educational heating demonstrations. This blow pipe is made from metal / stainless steel as listed, providing a simple reusable tool for supervised chemistry and general science activities where directed air flow is required. For safer operation, it is recommended to use an air pump to provide air for the blow pipe rather than using the mouth. This helps reduce the risk of incorrect breathing technique during demonstrations.
Users must never inhale through the blow pipe. When mouth use is approved by the supervising teacher or laboratory procedure, users should breathe through the nose and use the blow pipe for exhalation only. The metal body can become hot during use, especially when used close to a flame or heated apparatus. Allow the blow pipe to cool before handling, cleaning or storage. This product is suitable for school science laboratories, university teaching laboratories and educational facilities requiring a practical accessory for controlled flame or heating demonstrations.
