Description
pectrum discharge tube equipment for viewing gas emission wavelengths in teaching demonstrations. Options include a high quality set of six spectrum tubes in a foam case, sized 208 mm overall length with 12 mm diameter at the large ends, designed to mount into the deep socket of the IEC spectrum tube EHV unit to avoid high voltage cables. The matching 240V AC spectrum lamp power supply is supplied without tubes and includes a stainless steel rod and sliding clamp tube support, with a recessed high voltage socket and notes on correct voltage for hydrogen tube operation.
High quality set of six spectrum tubes with bright discharge and reliable performance. Tube size is 208 mm overall length x 12 mm diameter at the large ends. Supplied in a foam case. Used with the IEC spectrum tube EHV unit LC-80-HL3785-001 which has the correct socket and connection for the tubes. Tubes mount directly into a deep socket on the top face of the power unit to avoid use
IEC spectrum lamp power supply, self contained unit running from 240V AC mains, supplied without tubes. Stainless steel rod and sliding clamp supports various lengths of spectrum discharge tube and a very high voltage is applied. High voltage terminal is recessed in a deep socket on the top face of the instrument. Mains cable is removable. Many different spectrum tubes are available containing different gases that emit specific wavelengths from the thin middle section of the tube. Supplier note states hydrogen discharge tube requires the highest voltage for correct operation and this power supply provides the correct voltage.
