Description
The Multi Function Soil Meters with Stem Probes, also known as soil condition testers, are designed for basic checking of soil pH, moisture, light and temperature in plant care, horticulture education, school science activities and general soil observation work. This range includes an analogue 3-in-1 soil tester and a digital 4-in-1 soil tester. Both options use a stem probe format, allowing the probe to be inserted into soil for quick condition checking.
The analogue 3-in-1 soil tester is listed for measuring soil pH, light and moisture. It is a simple option for basic classroom demonstrations, plant care activities and general soil condition observations where a battery-free analogue style meter is preferred.
The digital 4-in-1 soil tester measures sunlight, soil moisture, soil pH and temperature in °C and °F. It is suitable for users who need a compact digital display with multiple soil condition readings in one handheld instrument.
The digital model has a stated 200 mm probe length. Sunlight is shown in 9 levels, moisture in 5 levels, and the soil pH range is stated as 3.5 to 9.0 pH with 0.5 pH resolution. The temperature range is stated as -9 to 50°C with 1°C or 1°F resolution. The digital soil tester includes auto power off, backlight and low battery indicator features. It surveys the light intensity of the current environment and operates using 1 × 9 V battery, which is not supplied. These soil meters are intended for basic educational and plant care checks rather than precision laboratory soil analysis. Readings should be used as practical indicators, and more formal soil testing methods may be required where exact analytical results are needed.
LabChoice Australia supplies Multi Function Soil Meters with Stem Probes for schools, horticulture programs, plant science activities, garden learning spaces and basic soil condition checks. They are suitable for supervised educational use, plant care demonstrations and introductory soil science investigations.
