Description
The Cavity Tiles and Spotting Plates, also known as laboratory spotting plates, are designed for small-volume testing, observation and classroom chemistry demonstrations. These plates provide multiple cavities or wells for holding small liquid samples, supporting side-by-side comparison of reactions, colour changes, indicators or qualitative tests. The range includes 6-place and 12-place spotting plate options, allowing users to select a plate size according to the number of samples or reactions required. The 6-place white porcelain spotting plate has a listed size of 88 mm long × 54 mm wide, making it suitable for compact small-scale laboratory activities.
The 12-place white spotting plate is listed with ABS plastic material and has a size of 115 mm long × 93 mm wide. Users should confirm the material before ordering if true porcelain or ceramic construction is required. The 6-place black spotting plate is listed as a black spotting plate and is suitable where a darker background is useful for contrast during approved observation work. The 12-place black spotting plate is listed as glazed, with 12 places, overall size 112 × 90 × 12 mm, well diameter 21 mm and well depth 6 mm. These spotting plates are useful for lessons involving pH indicators, precipitation reactions, colour comparison, qualitative analysis, reagent testing and small-scale chemical observation.
Users should confirm the required material, colour, number of cavities, chemical compatibility and cleaning method before ordering or use. Avoid open flame, excessive heat, thermal shock, strong impact and incompatible chemicals. Plastic options should not be used with heat or solvents unless compatibility is confirmed. This product range is intended for laboratory or educational settings only and should be used under appropriate teacher or laboratory supervision. This item is supplied as the selected cavity tile or spotting plate only. Reagents, droppers, pipettes, labels, worksheets, cleaning accessories and additional laboratory equipment are not included unless specified separately.
LabChoice Australia supplies Cavity Tiles and Spotting Plates for school science laboratories, university teaching laboratories and general laboratory environments requiring practical equipment for small-scale testing and sample observation.
