IEC Hodson light box range for basic optics and colour blending experiments, built for student handling and using a 12V x 30W QI lamp in a socket that allows one light box to plug into another. Supplied as a full optical kit, as a light box only pack with slit formers, or as a complete kit that includes a mini 240/12V transformer for mains operation. Stackable moulded banana plug leads, fixed lens adjuster, efficient virtually unbreakable mirrors, and heat resistant colour filters and plates are specified within the range.

IEC Hodson light box and optical kit supplied as a comprehensive kit of parts for experiments in basic optics and colour blending. Designed to take rough handling by students. Uses a unique lamp socket that holds a 12V x 30W QI lamp and allows one light box to be plugged into another so two boxes can run together. Cables use stackable banana plugs moulded to the cable. Lens adjuster cannot be removed by students. Mirrors are efficient and virtually unbreakable. Includes 3 slit formers for multiple rays, and sets of 8 colour filters and plates that are heat resistant. Parts are available individually, including the 3 tier styrene foam storage housing.

Hodson light box supplied as a complete kit of parts and includes a mini 240/12V transformer that permits the light box to be used on mains power. The transformer is small enough to fit inside the styrene foam housing with the balance of the standard kit.
