Description
The Evap System Needles, also known as evaporation manifold needle accessories, are designed for use with compatible Ratek evaporation system manifold kits. This accessory range includes replacement gas needles and blanking needles, allowing users to maintain, replace or configure individual manifold ports according to the number of sample positions required. The replacement needle is a removable surgical stainless steel gas needle with a polycarbonate hub. It is used to direct gas flow through active manifold ports during compatible evaporation workflows.
The blanking needle is used when not all outlets are being used. It blocks gas flow through individual unused ports, helping users configure the manifold for partial sample loads. Both needle types are easy to install and suitable for compatible evaporation manifold kits used in laboratory sample preparation workflows. These accessories are useful for nitrogen or approved gas evaporation applications where gas delivery, port control and manifold configuration need to be managed across multiple sample positions.
Users should confirm manifold compatibility, needle position, gas type, pressure setting and port fit before installation. The evaporation system should be depressurised and isolated from the gas supply before inserting, removing or replacing needles. Each item is sold individually. Users should select the required replacement needle or blanking needle according to the manifold setup and number of active ports required.
This product range is intended for laboratory use only and should be used under appropriate supervision. This item is supplied as the selected evap system needle only. Evaporation manifold, gas supply, tubing, regulator, sample tubes and additional accessories are not included unless specified separately.
