The AC Theory Electricity Kit is designed for university and trade school students studying core AC concepts, including inductance, reactance, impedance, power factor, electrical losses, and electrical resonance. It supports practical demonstrations where the time relationship between voltage and current, including lead and lag, can be observed using real components and meters.
The kit includes a very accurate digital signal generator with sine and square wave outputs, capacitors, a resistor, two 2 H inductors, and both analogue and digital meters. It is supplied with instruction and experiment sheets, with all components housed in sponge protection inside a strong carry case for organised storage and transport.
