Description
The Air Track Air Inlet Reducing Bush, also known as an air track inlet adaptor bush, is designed for compatible IEC air track systems where an old style air track inlet needs to be used with a later model blower hose. This bush fits into the old style air track end moulding and reduces the hole size to suit the smaller hose used on the later model IEC adjustable speed air blower. It is a practical conversion accessory for laboratories maintaining older air track equipment while using newer air blower components.
The reducing bush helps support a suitable air supply connection during approved air track experiments involving motion, velocity, acceleration, dynamics and collision demonstrations. Users should confirm the old air track end moulding size, blower hose outside diameter, blower model, fit tolerance and airflow requirement before ordering or installation. The bush should be fitted securely before the blower is operated. Do not use if the bush is cracked, loose, blocked, deformed or incompatible with the selected air track setup.
