The Magnatoids Magnet Pair, also known as a singing magnet pair or magnetic force demonstration pair, is designed for teaching magnetic concepts in science, laboratory and educational environments. This pair of compact yet powerful magnets helps demonstrate magnetic attraction, repulsion and the effect of magnetic fields on nearby compatible objects. When separated and carefully tossed together in a controlled demonstration, the magnets can produce a distinctive singing, buzzing or vibrating sound as magnetic attraction and motion bring them into contact.
The magnets also support demonstrations of magnetic equilibrium, showing how attraction and repulsion can influence balance, movement and interaction between two magnetic bodies.
