Magnetic Stirrer Hotplate IKA C-Mag HS10 is a single-position laboratory hotplate stirrer designed for controlled heating and magnetic stirring of liquid samples in research, education, quality control and routine laboratory environments. Magnetic stirrer with heating and ceramic heating plate which offers excellent chemical resistance. The 260 x 260 mm set-up plate provides a larger working surface for compatible laboratory vessels, while the unit supports stirring quantities up to 15 L of water.
The IKA C-Mag HS10 provides a stirring speed range of 100 to 1,500 rpm and a heating temperature range from 50 to 500°C. Its 1500 W heat output supports efficient heated stirring for routine solution preparation, reagent warming, sample mixing and controlled laboratory heating tasks. The LED set-value temperature display allows users to view the selected heating temperature clearly, while the turning knob controls provide straightforward operation for busy laboratory benches and supervised teaching environments.
For safe and practical use, the IKA C-Mag HS10 includes a fixed 550°C safety circuit, Hot Top indicator for hot surface warning, digital error code display and an elevated control panel designed to help protect against leaking liquids. It also includes a bushing according to DIN 12878 for connecting a compatible contact thermometer, such as ETS-D5, where more precise temperature control is required. The unit has a maximum load capacity of 20 kg and supports stirring bars up to 80 mm, making it suitable for larger compatible laboratory stirring applications.
