Thermostat Heat Control Hot Plate / Magnetic Stirrer combines controlled heating and magnetic stirring in a single laboratory unit designed for routine scientific, educational, research, and industrial applications. Featuring thermostat temperature control and adjustable magnetic stirring, this combination system supports laboratory procedures requiring simultaneous heating and continuous sample mixing.
The integrated thermostat control allows heat adjustment from 50°C to 320°C, with the unit designed to maintain the selected temperature for stable and repeatable heating performance. This controlled heating capability makes the equipment suitable for solution preparation, reagent warming, sample processing, chemical mixing, and other laboratory applications where dependable temperature control is required. The front control panel provides convenient user access to the mains power switch, thermostat heating adjustment, and independent stirring speed control.
The magnetic stirring function delivers adjustable stirring performance to promote effective mixing of liquids, reagents, and laboratory samples. Continuous stirring helps improve sample uniformity, support dissolution processes, and enhance heat distribution throughout the vessel contents. By combining heating and stirring into one compact system, the unit helps optimise bench space and streamline laboratory workflow.
The unit features a plain rectangular high-temperature alloy top plate measuring 200 × 180 mm, designed to provide even heat transfer across the working surface. The durable plate construction supports use with common laboratory glassware and compatible containers during routine heating and mixing operations.
Please note that for general boiling applications such as water boiling, additional heat input may be required to overcome heat losses. Where maximum plate temperatures of approximately 420°C are needed, a Simmerstat control model is recommended, as it is more suitable for achieving higher temperature output.
