The Desiccator Vacuum Type with Lid, also known as a heavy duty neutral glass vacuum desiccator, is designed for laboratories that require moisture control, vacuum-assisted drying, air removal or protected storage of sensitive samples. It is suitable for analytical chemistry laboratories, quality control laboratories, pharmaceutical testing areas, research facilities, materials laboratories and university teaching laboratories.
This vacuum desiccator is made from high quality neutral glass with thick die-pressed construction. The heavy duty glass body supports clear visibility of the chamber contents while providing a robust format for routine laboratory desiccation and storage work.
The precision fitted lid is designed to support a secure seal during compatible vacuum applications. When correctly seated and used with suitable sealing practice, the lid helps reduce moisture ingress and supports reduced-pressure drying or storage workflows.
