The Plain Desiccator, All-Clear Polycarbonate, High Quality, also known as a transparent non-vacuum laboratory desiccator, is designed for storing and protecting compatible moisture-sensitive samples, chemicals and materials. Made from clear polycarbonate PC / PC construction, this desiccator allows users to view the contents without opening the chamber, helping maintain a more stable low-moisture storage environment during routine laboratory use. The plain design provides a practical, durable and easy-to-use format for laboratories requiring simple desiccation storage without vacuum control.
This desiccator is suitable for hygroscopic materials, prepared samples, teaching laboratory specimens, moisture-sensitive chemicals and general sample protection where a compatible desiccator and suitable desiccant are used. Available sizes include 150 mm, 200 mm, 250 mm, 300 mm and 380 mm, allowing users to select the correct internal space for their sample containers, Petri dishes, crucibles, weighing bottles or other compatible labware. Users should confirm desiccator size, seal condition, desiccant type, sample compatibility, chemical resistance, storage temperature and cleaning method before ordering or use.
Do not expose the desiccator to direct heat, open flame, hotplates, aggressive solvents or incompatible chemicals unless the material compatibility has been confirmed. This is a plain desiccator and should not be used for vacuum or pressure applications unless the selected model is specifically rated and supplied as a vacuum desiccator. Handle carefully to avoid cracks, impact damage or scratched viewing surfaces. Clean with non-abrasive methods to maintain transparency and surface quality.
