Description
The Atomic Molecular Model Kits, Junior and Senior Sets, also known as organic and inorganic molecular model kits, are designed for chemistry teaching, classroom demonstrations and student molecular structure activities. These kits support the construction of 3-dimensional molecular structures, helping students visualise atomic arrangement, bonding, molecular geometry and compound structure in a practical hands-on format.
The Junior Set includes 30 lugs and 75 balls. It is supplied in a bag only and should be used in conjunction with the Senior or Teacher Set. The Senior or Teacher Set includes 150 lugs and 370 balls of prescribed colours and sizes. It is supplied in a plastic moulded box with separate spaces for different ball colours and sizes, helping keep components organised for classroom use. The balls are listed in two sizes, with large balls measuring 25 mm and small balls measuring 18.5 mm. The set includes moulded balls of different colours and sizes, along with connecting lugs of different sizes. The balls include holes to allow compatible lugs to be fitted during model construction.
These atomic model kits are useful for constructing and demonstrating 3-dimensional structures of various organic and inorganic compounds, including molecular geometry examples used in classroom chemistry lessons. The components are listed as moulded in polystyrene, providing a lightweight practical model format for repeated educational handling. This product range is suitable for school science laboratories, chemistry classrooms, university teaching laboratories and STEM education environments requiring practical molecular modelling resources.
Users should handle components carefully and store them after use to reduce the risk of missing parts. Small components should be used only under appropriate supervision. This product is intended for laboratory or educational settings only and should be used under appropriate teacher or laboratory supervision. This item is supplied as the selected atomic molecular model kit only. Charts, worksheets, additional model components and teaching accessories are not included unless specified separately.
LabChoice Australia supplies Atomic Molecular Model Kits for school science laboratories, chemistry classrooms, university teaching laboratories and general education environments requiring practical visual aids for organic, inorganic and molecular structure teaching.
