The Adam AVT Anti-Vibration Table, also known as an anti-vibration balance table, is designed to provide a stable weighing platform for compatible analytical balances, precision balances and sensitive laboratory weighing workflows. This table features a large dark granite working surface measuring 400 × 450 mm. The high-density granite slab provides substantial mass and stability, helping reduce the effect of external vibration on weighing performance.
The granite slab is supported by shock-absorbing rubber mounts, helping isolate the weighing surface from common laboratory disturbances such as foot traffic, nearby equipment movement, building vibration, HVAC operation and bench-level instability. The AVT uses a two-table construction design, with the granite block positioned within the lightweight tubular aluminium frame. This arrangement helps minimise direct interference with the weighing surface and supports improved balance stability during sensitive measurements.
Adjustable levelling feet allow users to compensate for uneven floor surfaces and set up the table correctly before weighing.
