The Air Track Spark Track EHV Strip Guides, also known as air track EHV spark strip guides, are designed for compatible later model air track systems used in physics and mechanics experiments. These products are long plastic EHV strip guides with metal strips, designed to fit to the side of compatible later model air tracks. The range includes one option for a 2.0 m long air track and one option for a 2.5 m long air track, allowing users to select the correct strip guide length for their existing equipment. These strip guides are used in approved spark timing and paper track recording setups, helping support experiments involving displacement, velocity, acceleration, motion graphs and air track-based dynamics.
Users should confirm the air track model, track length, side mounting arrangement, EHV spark track compatibility, spark timer compatibility and installation method before ordering or use. The strip guide should be inspected before each activity. Do not use if the plastic guide, metal strips, mounting points or electrical contact surfaces are damaged, loose, dirty or incompatible. EHV spark timing systems may involve high voltage pulses. Use only with approved equipment, dry hands, correct earthing, suitable supervision and approved laboratory safety procedures.
Keep hands, loose clothing and fragile items clear of moving gliders and spark track components during air track operation.
