The Cavity Tiles, 12 Place Plastic Spotting Plates, also known as laboratory spotting tiles, are designed for small-volume testing, classroom demonstrations and educational chemistry activities. These plates include 12 cavities, allowing multiple small liquid samples or reactions to be observed on one compact plate during approved laboratory activities. The white solid plastic spotting plate has a listed size of 120 mm long × 90 mm wide. Each cavity holds approximately 2.5 mL of liquid, with listed cavity dimensions of approximately 22 mm wide × 5.2 mm deep. The clear plastic spotting plate is listed as a 12-place cavity tile and is also known as a spotting tile. The clear format may assist visual observation where transparency is useful during approved experiments.
