LCD Digital Glass Ceramic Hotplate with Package, also known as a laboratory glass ceramic hotplate, is designed for controlled high-temperature heating in analytical, environmental, mineral processing, metallurgical, petrochemical, materials science, battery research and university laboratory workflows. Its 10-inch glass ceramic work plate provides a large heating surface with strong chemical-resistant performance and efficient heat transfer.
The hotplate provides a heating temperature range from room temperature to 500°C, adjustable in 1°C increments. This supports demanding laboratory heating tasks such as high-boiling acid digestion of mineral samples, preparation of inorganic materials, nanomaterial processing, rapid solvent removal, sample drying and pre-treatment before analytical testing.
The 254 × 254 mm glass ceramic work plate offers a practical surface for one heating position. Glass ceramic construction supports chemical resistance and stable heat transfer during routine heating procedures, especially where acids, solvents or corrosive sample preparation workflows are used with suitable laboratory vessels.
The LCD display provides clear visibility of temperature and time settings. Temperature display accuracy is specified at ±0.1°C, while temperature control accuracy is specified as ±1°C below 100°C and ±1% above 100°C. These specifications support controlled heating where stable temperature management is required.
External temperature control is possible by connecting a PT1000 temperature sensor. The supplied sensor accuracy is ±0.2°C, allowing direct monitoring and control of sample temperature rather than relying only on work plate temperature. This is useful for liquid heating, digestion workflows and temperature-sensitive sample preparation.
The HOT warning function flashes when the work plate temperature is above 50°C, even when the hotplate is turned off. Overheating temperature protection is specified at 540°C, supporting safer operation during high-temperature laboratory heating tasks.
The timer can be set from 1 minute to 99 hours 59 minutes, supporting timed heating, drying, concentration and digestion workflows. The SD card data connector records the instrument’s running data in real time, supporting traceability and process review in research, QC and analytical laboratories.
