Description
The Serological Pipettes, also known as sterile disposable serological transfer pipettes, are designed for precise liquid transfer in tissue culture, bacterial culture, microbiology, molecular biology, biotechnology, clinical, pharmaceutical and university teaching laboratories. They are individually wrapped and sterile, supporting clean handling during routine liquid transfer workflows. These pipettes are made from high clarity polystyrene, allowing users to view liquid movement clearly during aspiration and dispensing. This helps support controlled handling of culture media, buffers, reagents, cell suspensions and other compatible laboratory liquids.
Each pipette includes an edged colour-coded band for quick volume identification. This supports faster selection during busy laboratory work, especially in shared tissue culture rooms, microbiology laboratories and teaching environments where multiple pipette sizes may be used together.Negative graduations are included to support extra volume handling beyond the nominal marked capacity. This feature is useful when additional liquid volume needs to be aspirated or dispensed according to the laboratory method and compatible pipette controller being used.
The pipettes are E-beam sterilised and include a polyolefin fibre filter to help reduce contamination during aspiration and dispensing. They are stated as non-pyrogenic, non-cytotoxic, non-haemolytic, DNase free and RNase free, supporting use in sensitive biological and culture-based workflows. The range is available in 1 mL, 2 mL, 5 mL, 10 mL, 25 mL and 50 mL options. These volume choices support routine liquid transfer across small and larger-volume laboratory procedures, including media transfer, reagent dispensing, sample preparation and culture handling.
LabChoice Australia supplies these Sterile Serological Pipettes for tissue culture laboratories, bacterial culture laboratories, microbiology laboratories, biotechnology laboratories, molecular biology laboratories, clinical laboratories, pharmaceutical laboratories, university teaching laboratories and general research facilities. They are suitable for precise liquid transfer using compatible pipette controllers and validated laboratory procedures.
