Description
Portable pH Meter Kit PH8500-DP with LabSen 823 Electrode for Dairy and Liquid Food, -2.00 to 16.00 pH, also known as a dairy pH meter kit, is designed for professional pH measurement in compatible dairy products, liquid food and protein-containing liquid samples. This kit is suitable for milk, buttermilk, cream, yogurt, jam, BBQ sauce and other compatible liquid food applications. It is also relevant for selected biotech and pharmaceutical workflows where TRIS buffer compatibility and protein-sample handling are important.
The supplied LabSen® 823 glass 3-in-1 pH/temperature electrode is designed for liquid food and protein-containing liquid samples. It uses a blue gel inner solution and Protelyte outer electrolyte to support stable measurement where protein residues may contribute to junction clogging.
The silver-ion-trap reference system is designed to help reduce junction issues caused by sulfides, proteins and TRIS buffer solutions. This makes the kit practical for dairy QC, food production, laboratory testing and compatible buffer-based workflows. The PH8500 meter includes intelligent functions such as self-diagnosis, calibration reminders, calibration date checking, clock display and easy parameter setting. These functions help support controlled routine pH testing and calibration management.
GLP standard data management supports up to 500 stored data sets, with manual or automatic storage. USB data output and the supplied software flash drive support data transfer for review, analysis and reporting. The large white backlit LCD, IP57 waterproof rating, soft silicone case and foldable stand make the meter suitable for field use, production QC checks and benchtop-style laboratory operation.
Included with this Portable pH Meter Kit: User Manual, Carrying Case, USB Cable, Software Flash Drive, Screwdriver, PH8500 Meter, pH 10.01 Calibration Solution, pH 7.00 Calibration Solution, pH 4.00 Calibration Solution, Protelyte Soaking Solution and LabSen® 823 pH/Temp Electrode.
Users should follow correct calibration, rinsing, cleaning, soaking and electrode storage procedures to support stable readings and electrode service life. For dairy and protein-containing samples, careful cleaning after each measurement is important to minimise residue build-up around the junction.
LabChoice Australia supplies portable dairy and liquid food pH meter kits for food laboratories, dairy QC teams, beverage producers, biotech laboratories, pharmaceutical sample workflows, schools, universities and routine liquid food pH testing applications.
