Description
The Clear Polypropylene Conical Micro Centrifuge Tubes, also known as microcentrifuge tubes or conical micro tubes, are designed for routine sample storage, preparation, centrifugation and handling workflows in compatible laboratory environments. These tubes are available in 0.6 mL and 1.5 mL volume options, supporting common micro-volume sample preparation requirements in teaching, research, molecular biology, biotechnology, QC and routine laboratory workflows.
The tubes are made from USP VI grade polypropylene and are listed as free from heavy metals. The clear tube body supports visual sample observation, while the conical bottom assists with sample collection and recovery after compatible centrifugation procedures. The listed RCF rating is 30,000 × g. Users should confirm centrifuge rotor compatibility, tube size, speed setting, sample type, filling volume and balancing requirements before operation.
The special safelock cap design supports secure lid sealing during routine handling and centrifugation workflows. The cap is designed for easy opening and closing, helping users work efficiently during repetitive sample preparation tasks. Clear graduations allow approximate volume reference, while the frosted marking area supports sample identification using suitable laboratory markers. This is useful where multiple tubes need to be organised, labelled and tracked during routine workflows. The tubes are listed as DNase/RNase free, with endotoxin level less than 0.1 EU. They are autoclavable and suitable for compatible laboratory processes where non-sterile micro centrifuge tubes are required. Sterile versions may be available separately where specified.
LabChoice Australia supplies Clear Polypropylene Conical Micro Centrifuge Tubes for school laboratories, university teaching spaces, molecular biology laboratories, research facilities, QC laboratories and routine sample preparation workspaces requiring reliable micro-volume tube handling.
