Description
LAQUAtwin Ca-11C Pocket Ionised Calcium Meter is designed for direct cow side measurement of ionised calcium in blood, helping support faster assessment of calcium status in dairy cows. Milk fever, or Sub Clinical Hypocalcemia, is a significant issue after lactation, when total calcium levels in blood can drop. This model has been specially developed to measure ionised calcium directly, which reflects the current calcemic blood situation more accurately than total blood calcium because it represents the free available calcium ions.
This compact meter supports practical field use with a minimum sample volume of 0.3 mL and a measurement range of 0.1 to 5.0 mmol/L. It uses an ion selective electrode and supports two calibration points at 1.25 mmol/L and 2.50 mmol/L with automatic standard recognition. Auto hold and auto stable measurement modes help users record readings more easily, while temperature calibration from 5 to 40.0°C supports routine operation. With IP67 dust and waterproof protection, low battery indicator, automatic power off, replaceable sensor, and backlit LCD display, LAQUAtwin Ca-11C is suited to portable cow side blood testing where timely calcium assessment is important.
