Description
The Laboratory Draining and Drying Racks, also known as laboratory glassware drying racks or draining racks, are designed for drying and draining compatible laboratory glassware, plasticware and small apparatus after washing. The 20 peg draining rack is listed with a drip tray and hole for a draining tube, making it suitable for wall-mounted laboratory drying applications. It has a listed size of 500 × 350 mm, with 140 mm long pegs and peg placement approximately 6.5 cm apart. The 20 peg rack material is listed as Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) / Polycarbonate, supporting routine laboratory drying workflows where compatible plastic construction is required. The draining hose and wall mounting screws are not included as listed.
For assembly of the 20 peg rack, each peg comes with a nut. Unscrew the nut from the peg, place the peg through the board hole, then use the nut at the back of the board to secure the peg in place. The 27 peg draining rack is listed as a single-sided rack made from high density polypropylene (PP). It has a product size of 21.6 × 15.7 × 4.3 inch, also listed as 55 × 40 × 11 cm. The 27 peg rack includes 27 detachable pegs, each listed as 5.1 inch long, and is supplied with a water outlet hose as listed. It is suitable for bench mounting over a sink or wall mounting. The 27 peg rack will not stand alone. For table-top use, the supplied information recommends purchasing two racks and assembling them back to back.
These racks are useful for school science laboratories, university teaching laboratories, chemical laboratories, quality testing areas, research institutes and general laboratory wash-up spaces. Users should confirm rack size, peg count, mounting method, wall or bench strength, drainage position, glassware weight, chemical compatibility and cleaning procedure before ordering or use. Ensure the rack is securely mounted before loading glassware. Do not overload pegs, place unstable glassware on the rack or use damaged pegs. Wet floors and dripping glassware may create slip hazards, so drainage should be directed safely.
This product is intended for laboratory or educational settings only and should be used under appropriate supervision. This item is supplied as the selected laboratory draining / drying rack only. Glassware, mounting screws, draining hose for the 20 peg model, sink fittings, wall anchors, PPE and additional laboratory accessories are not included unless specified separately.
LabChoice Australia supplies Laboratory Draining and Drying Racks for school science laboratories, university teaching laboratories, research facilities and general laboratory environments requiring practical glassware drying and wash-up organisation equipment.
