The Kolle Type Needle Holder with Chuck Jaws, also known as a microbiology inoculating needle holder, is designed for holding compatible inoculating needles, wires or loop attachments during laboratory and educational microbiology work. The chuck jaw design helps secure a compatible needle or wire so it can be used for controlled sample transfer, streaking demonstrations and culture-handling exercises under approved supervision. This holder is suitable for microbiology classrooms, school science laboratories, university teaching laboratories and preparation rooms requiring a practical accessory for inoculation and culture demonstration work.
Users should confirm the required needle or wire diameter, chuck jaw fit, sterilisation method, heating method and microbiology procedure before ordering or use. When used with flame sterilisation, the metal tip or attached wire may become very hot. Allow heated parts to cool before touching or contacting culture material. Handle biological samples, cultures and used inoculating tools according to approved biosafety procedures. Do not use with hazardous microorganisms unless the facility, containment level and procedure are suitable.
