The Inlet Thermometer Adapter with Vacuum Hose Connection, BORO 3.3 Glass, also known as a thermometer adapter with side hose connection, is designed for connecting a thermometer to compatible laboratory glassware while allowing gas transfer through the side hose connection. This adapter is made from BORO 3.3 borosilicate glass, providing good chemical and thermal resistance for standard laboratory applications where compatible chemicals and approved procedures are followed. The adapter features an inner joint, serrated hose connection and threaded compression cap, supporting practical setup in distillation, reaction, temperature monitoring and teaching laboratory assemblies.
Available joint sizes include 14/20, 19/22 and 24/40, allowing users to select the adapter size that matches their compatible glassware system. The side hose interface allows flexible connection to suitable tubing for approved gas transfer or related laboratory workflows, depending on the complete setup and method. The compression cap helps position the thermometer securely when used with the correct thermometer diameter and sealing components. The adapter is equipped with a PP thermometer nut and internal silicone gasket, with the listed stable operating temperature stated as 100°C.
