Description
The IEC reaction timer measures a person’s response time from the moment a large LED illuminates or a beeper sounds. The LED can display red or green. A random, unpredictable delay of 10 to 90 seconds is built in before the light or beeper activates, reducing anticipation during testing. The start can be initiated by a second person or by the person being tested using a button.
The unit can operate with LED only, beeper only, or LED and beeper together. It supports single-decision testing (cue occurs, press button) and dual-decision testing (identify red or green, then press the correct button). Two press buttons with 1 m cables are supplied, and one button can be taped to a wooden block for a driving-style reaction activity.
Ancillary equipment required: 240/12 V AC plug pack or classroom power supply, plus a digital timer that runs when contacts close and stops when opened.(same as LC-80-LB4057-001 or similar).
