Description
Portable pH Meter Kit PH8500-SA with LabSen 843 Electrode for Strong Alkaline and High Salinity Solutions, -2.00 to 16.00 pH, also known as a strong alkaline pH meter kit, is designed for professional pH measurement in compatible high-pH and high-salinity sample workflows. This kit is suitable for strong alkaline solutions, high salinity solutions and general water solutions where the correct electrode selection is required. It is useful for laboratories, industrial QC teams, water testing users, research facilities and field measurement workflows.
The supplied LabSen® 843 pH electrode is designed for strong alkaline and high salinity samples. Its HA glass membrane is made for alkaline solution measurement, especially in the 10–14 pH region where sodium-ion interference can cause alkaline measurement error.
The electrode uses a blue gel inner solution and silver-ion-trap reference system to support stable measurement in compatible alkaline and saline samples. Supplied information states that service life is longer than conventional electrodes when used for these sample types under suitable conditions. The kit also includes an MP500 temperature electrode for temperature measurement with the PH8500 meter. The PH8500 meter supports self-diagnosis, calibration reminders, calibration date checking, clock display and easy parameter setting for controlled routine use.
GLP standard data management supports up to 500 stored data sets, with manual or automatic storage. USB data output and the supplied software flash drive support data transfer for review, analysis and reporting. The large white backlit LCD, IP57 waterproof rating, soft silicone case and foldable stand make the meter practical for field use, laboratory benches and benchtop-style operation.
Included with this Portable pH Meter Kit: User Manual, Carrying Case, USB Cable, Software Flash Drive, Screwdriver, PH8500 Meter, pH 12.45 Calibration Solution, pH 7.00 Calibration Solution, pH 4.00 Calibration Solution, Reference Soaking Solution, LabSen® 843 pH Electrode and MP500 Temperature Electrode.
Users should follow correct calibration, rinsing, soaking and electrode storage procedures to support stable readings and electrode service life. For strong alkaline and high salinity samples, sample compatibility, temperature condition and electrode cleaning should be confirmed before routine testing.
LabChoice Australia supplies strong alkaline pH meter kits for laboratories, universities, industrial QC users, water testing teams, research facilities and controlled workflows requiring pH measurement in compatible alkaline or high salinity samples.
