Description
Portable Conductivity/TDS Meter Kit EC850 Value Series, 0 to 200 mS/cm, also known as a handheld conductivity meter kit, is designed for professional conductivity and TDS measurement in field, onsite and routine laboratory environments. This meter is suitable for water treatment, drinking water checks, aquariums, aquaculture, hydroponics, greenhouse applications, pools, spas, education, environmental monitoring and beverage-making workflows where portable EC or TDS testing is required.
The EC850 supports quick 1–3 point automatic conductivity calibration and recognises common conductivity standards including 84 µS/cm, 1413 µS/cm, 12.88 mS/cm and 111.8 mS/cm. The built-in self-diagnosis function helps guide users through common calibration issues during routine operation.
The supplied 2301T-S conductivity electrode uses a platinum black conductivity cell with K = 1 cell constant. It is designed to support wide-range conductivity measurement up to 200 mS/cm, with a built-in temperature sensor for automatic temperature compensation workflows.
Users can customise important measurement parameters, including cell constant, reference temperature, temperature compensation coefficient and TDS conversion factor. This makes the meter suitable for different water-testing procedures where EC and TDS settings need to be controlled.
The large LCD display shows measurement information clearly, including stability status, completed calibration indicators and simultaneous temperature display. The foldable stand allows the meter to be used in a benchtop-style setup when required. The EC850 is built for field handling, with an IP57 water-resistant structure and protective rubber sleeve to help protect the instrument from general impact while improving grip.
Included with this Portable Conductivity/TDS Meter Kit: User Manual, Carrying Case, 2301T-S Conductivity Electrode, Screwdriver, EC850 Meter, 12.88 mS/cm Calibration Solution, 1413 µS/cm Calibration Solution and 84 µS/cm Calibration Solution.
Users should follow correct calibration, rinsing, electrode cleaning and storage procedures to support stable readings and electrode service life. Conductivity cells should be kept clean, especially after testing samples that may leave residue or deposits.
LabChoice Australia supplies portable conductivity/TDS meter kits for schools, universities, laboratories, water-treatment teams, hydroponic users, aquaculture users, environmental monitoring teams and routine onsite water-quality testing workflows.
