The PTFE Low Form Crucibles without Lid, High Quality, also known as PTFE laboratory crucibles, are designed for laboratory workflows requiring chemically resistant and inert sample containers. These crucibles are moulded from pure PTFE, a material valued in laboratories for its chemical inertness, smooth surface and resistance to many compatible acids, bases and solvents. The low form design is suitable for sample handling, preparation, evaporation under approved conditions and work involving reactive substances where other materials may be unsuitable. The smooth PTFE surface helps reduce sample contamination and supports easier cleaning after compatible laboratory use.
These crucibles are listed for use across cryogenic to moderate heating conditions, with a stated temperature range from -196°C to +250°C.
