Description
The Variable High Voltage Power Supply, 0 to 500 V DC / 50 mA, also known as a high voltage laboratory power supply, is designed for supervised physics and electronics teaching applications requiring adjustable high voltage output. This IEC high voltage power supply provides a high voltage DC output up to 500 V DC and a high voltage AC output up to 300 V AC. The maximum high voltage output current is listed as 50 mA. The unit includes a digital meter for monitoring output during laboratory demonstrations, helping users observe selected voltage levels during controlled classroom experiments.
Low voltage output is provided as 2 × 6.3 V AC at 4 A. These outputs are normally used for running heaters of compatible electron tubes during suitable physics and electronics demonstrations. Electronic overload trip protection is included. The overload trip is reset by turning off the high voltage output, supporting controlled recovery after an overload condition. This power supply is suitable for electron tube experiments, high voltage physics demonstrations, electronics teaching, valve heater supply requirements and other approved laboratory activities requiring controlled high voltage output.
Users should confirm the required AC or DC output, voltage range, current requirement, load suitability and experiment procedure before use. Connected circuits must remain within the rated output limits of the unit. This product is intended for laboratory or educational settings only. Because it provides high voltage output, it must be used only under appropriate teacher or laboratory supervisor control, with approved safety procedures and suitable insulated connections. This item is supplied as the variable high voltage power supply only. Leads, electron tubes, heaters, electrodes, circuit boards, meters, loads and additional accessories are not included unless specified separately.
