Portable pH Meter Kit PH850-HF with LabSen 833 Electrode for Strong Acid and HF Solutions, 0 to 14 pH, also known as an HF-resistant pH meter kit, is designed for specialised pH measurement in compatible strong acid and hydrofluoric acid solution workflows. This kit is intended for trained laboratory users working with corrosive samples where a standard pH electrode may not be suitable. It is relevant for controlled strong acid and HF-containing sample applications where electrode compatibility, exposure time and safety procedure must be carefully managed.
The supplied LabSen® 833 pH electrode uses an HF glass membrane designed for selected hydrofluoric acid solution measurement. Supplied information states that HF measurement should be limited to solutions below 0.1 mol/L or 0.2 wt%, with measurement time below 1 minute.
The electrode includes a blue gel inner solution and silver-ion-trap reference system. These design features support stable measurement and help reduce junction-related issues in compatible acid sample workflows. The PH850 meter supports 1–3 point pH calibration and automatically recognises common pH standards including 1.68, 4.00, 7.00, 10.01 and 12.45. It also includes self-diagnosis, electrode slope display, auto power-off and easy parameter setting for routine operation. The large LCD display shows pH, temperature, stability status and completed calibration indicators. The IP57 waterproof rating, soft silicone case and foldable stand make the meter suitable for handheld use and benchtop-style laboratory measurement.

Users must follow approved laboratory safety procedures for strong acids and hydrofluoric acid, including suitable PPE, handling controls and disposal procedures. Electrode exposure time, HF concentration limit, rinsing, soaking and storage method should be confirmed before routine testing.
