Description
Dissolved Oxygen Meter Kit DO850 Portable Optical with 33 ft Cable, 0 to 20.00 mg/L, also known as a portable optical DO meter kit, is designed for dissolved oxygen measurement in field, onsite and routine laboratory water-testing environments. This kit is suitable for water treatment, aquaculture, hydroponics, aquariums, beverage production and general water-quality testing where users need dissolved oxygen results in mg/L, ppm or % saturation.
The optical DO probe uses luminescent dissolved oxygen technology, which removes the need for membrane and electrolyte maintenance required by traditional polarographic-style DO probes. Because the probe does not consume oxygen during measurement, it is suitable for both still and moving water applications.
The DO850 supports automatic temperature compensation, automatic barometric pressure compensation and manual salinity compensation. These controls help users manage common variables that can affect dissolved oxygen readings in different water-quality conditions. The large backlit LCD shows dissolved oxygen and temperature together, while stable reading mode and optional auto-lock help users capture steady results during field or lab measurement. The foldable stand also allows convenient benchtop-style operation when required.
The 33 ft cable provides extended reach for sampling in larger tanks, ponds, streams, aquaculture systems, treatment basins and field sites where the meter body cannot be placed close to the sampling point.

Warranty
The DO850 instrument is covered for three years from the date of purchase.
The optical DO probe, excluding the sensor cap, is covered for two years from the date of purchase, subject to confirmation for the supplied probe model.
The DO8032 sensor cap is covered for one year from the date of purchase.
The warranty applies where the product or part is not functional due to raw material defects or poor manufacturing, subject to the manufacturer’s warranty terms.
The limited warranty does not cover issues caused by accidental damage, improper use, normal wear and tear, transport, storage, failure to follow product instructions, unauthorised maintenance, unauthorised modification, unauthorised repair, incompatible use with other products or materials, abuse, accidents or external causes beyond reasonable control.
