Combined Mini Spectral Lamp Holder with Power Supply, No Lamp Supplied

$357.00(Ex GST)

  • Compact direct-vision spectroscope for viewing spectra and estimating wavelength using calibrated nm scale.
  • Adjustable entrance slit controls light level and band sharpness for clearer spectral separation.
  • Eyepiece fitted with 600 line/mm grating to disperse light into colour and wavelength components.
  • Spectrum viewed against nanometre scale, each digit represents 100 nm for quick classroom readings.
  • Black chamber improves viewing conditions by limiting stray light during spectroscopy demonstrations.

Description

This mini spectral lamp power unit combines the power supply and lamp holder in one compact, low-cost design. The spectral lamp mounts inside a black protective tube that rises from the top of the power unit, so there is no separate tube holder and cable required. This is a true spectral lamp power unit, not to be confused with a spectrum lamp power supply.

By rotating the outer sleeve of the lamp cover, different aperture shapes can be selected. These apertures are positioned at the correct height for use with the IEC Flame and “AA” Spectrometer LC-80-CH3792-001, supporting consistent alignment for spectral line observation in optics and atomic physics practicals.

Supplied without lamps, but it accepts the same economical spectral lamps used in the higher-priced unit with holder, including sodium, mercury, neon, and helium options.or tubes, see LA-80-PA3797-101, LC-80-PA3797-102, LC-80-PA3797-103 and LC-80-PA3797-104
