The Brass Thermometer Cases, Slot Front, also known as laboratory thermometer protection cases, are designed to help protect standard 6.5 mm diameter laboratory thermometers from breakage during routine handling, storage and use. Each case features a brass slot front design, allowing the thermometer scale to be read while the thermometer remains protected inside the case. A suspension ring is fitted at the top of the case, supporting convenient hanging, storage or placement during laboratory and educational workflows.
The bulb end includes holes to allow better contact with the surrounding environment or liquid, helping support quicker temperature response while the thermometer remains protected. This range is suitable for school science laboratories, university teaching laboratories, chemistry classrooms, physics laboratories and general laboratory environments using compatible standard glass thermometers. Available lengths include 155 mm, 305 mm, 355 mm and 405 mm, allowing users to select a suitable case size based on thermometer length and application. Users should confirm thermometer length, outside diameter and bulb shape before ordering, especially where exact fit is critical.
The case should be handled carefully and cleaned according to the approved laboratory procedure. Damaged or bent cases should be removed from service if they no longer hold the thermometer securely.
