Description
Portable pH Meter Kit PH8500-MS with LabSen 243-6 Electrode for Test Tubes and Small Liquid Samples, -2.00 to 16.00 pH, also known as a semi-micro pH meter kit, is designed for lab-grade pH measurement in small-volume liquid samples and narrow vessels. This kit is suitable for test tubes, semi-micro samples, small-volume liquids, education, laboratory QC and research workflows where the available sample volume is limited and a standard pH electrode may not be practical.
The supplied LabSen® 243-6 glass pH/temperature electrode is designed for semi-micro sample measurement. Its 6 mm diameter and 100 mm length help support pH testing in narrow containers, micro-volume vessels and small liquid sample workflows.
The electrode uses a blue gel inner solution, S-type semi-micro glass membrane and long-life reference system. Supplied information lists low membrane resistance below 350 MΩ and suitability for high-temperature samples up to 212°F, when used within the correct operating procedure. The PH8500 meter includes intelligent functions such as self-diagnosis, calibration reminders, calibration date checking, clock display and easy parameter setting. These functions help support controlled routine pH testing and calibration management.
GLP standard data management supports up to 500 stored data sets, with manual or automatic storage. USB data output and the supplied software flash drive support data transfer for review, analysis and reporting. The large white backlit LCD, IP57 waterproof rating, soft silicone case and foldable stand make the meter suitable for field use, laboratory benches and small-sample testing workflows.

Users should follow correct calibration, rinsing, soaking and electrode storage procedures to support stable readings and electrode service life. For small-volume samples, correct immersion depth and careful handling are especially important to avoid unstable readings or electrode damage.
