Description
Portable Conductivity/TDS/Salinity/Resistivity Meter Kit EC8500 with GLP Data Logger, 0 to 200 mS/cm, also known as a premium portable conductivity meter kit, is designed for lab-grade conductivity measurement in field, onsite and routine laboratory environments. This meter is suitable for water treatment, drinking water checks, aquariums, aquaculture, hydroponics, greenhouse applications, pools, spas, education, environmental monitoring and beverage-making workflows where portable EC-based water testing is required.
The EC8500 supports conductivity, TDS, salinity, resistivity and temperature measurement in one handheld meter format. One-tap switching helps users move between common water-quality parameters without needing separate instruments for each routine measurement.
The supplied 2301T-S conductivity electrode uses a platinum black conductivity cell with K = 1 cell constant. It supports wide-range conductivity measurement up to 200 mS/cm / 200,000 µS/cm and includes a built-in temperature sensor for temperature-compensated measurement workflows.
GLP data management supports manual or automatic data logging, with storage for up to 500 measurement sets. USB data output allows users to transfer stored measurements for further analysis, reporting and record keeping. The meter supports quick 1–3 point automatic conductivity calibration and recognises 84 µS, 1413 µS, 12.88 mS and 111.8 mS conductivity standards. Last calibration date check and calibration reminder functions help support routine calibration control.
Users can customise measurement settings including temperature unit, conductivity cell constant, reference temperature, temperature compensation coefficient and TDS conversion factor from 0.40 to 1.00. The large backlit LCD shows conductivity-related readings, temperature, time, stability status, calibration indicators and data storage status. The IP57 water-resistant structure and protective rubber sleeve support field use in demanding testing environments.
