Description
The High Power Light Source on Base, also known as a BA15D lamp holder on base, is designed for school science and physics teaching activities where a brighter low-voltage light source is required. This simple high power light source consists of a small bayonet socket mounted to a base. The format supports practical classroom use in basic electricity, light output and circuit demonstration activities.
The lamp normally used with this unit is a double-contact BA15D lamp rated at 12 V and 15 to 21 W. Users should confirm the correct lamp type and rating before installation or replacement. The base is fitted with 4 mm spin-free IEC terminals, allowing connection with compatible classroom leads and low-voltage power supplies. This light source is suitable for demonstrations involving electric circuits, lamp brightness, current flow, power output, low-voltage lighting, switches and circuit connection methods.
