The Low Form Quartz Crucibles, also known as fused quartz crucibles or fused silica crucibles, are designed for laboratory heating, ashing and sample preparation workflows where compatible high-temperature ceramic or quartz labware is required. Quartz crucibles are commonly used for heating solids, preparing residues, carrying out ignition procedures and supporting analytical sample preparation where suitable chemical and thermal compatibility has been confirmed. The quartz construction provides practical resistance to many laboratory chemicals and heating conditions, making these crucibles useful in chemistry laboratories, teaching laboratories, quality control laboratories and research environments.
These crucibles are suitable for use with compatible furnaces, hot zones and heating procedures, depending on the selected crucible size, wall thickness, shape and quartz grade. Users should confirm the required capacity, crucible form, maximum operating temperature, heating rate, cooling method, sample chemistry and furnace compatibility before ordering or use. Quartz crucibles should be heated and cooled gradually to reduce thermal stress.
