Description
The Reaction Flask, Round Bottom with Flat Flange Joint, BORO 3.3 Glass, also known as a wide neck borosilicate reaction vessel, is designed for laboratory reaction, mixing, preparation and process development workflows. These round bottom reaction flasks are manufactured from BORO 3.3 glass and fitted with large diameter flat flange joints, providing practical access to the vessel interior during setup, cleaning and material handling. The wide neck flat flange design offers several advantages over conventional conical jointed flasks, including easier lid removal, improved cleaning access and easier addition or removal of solids and resinous materials.
The large flange opening can accommodate suitable stirrers, probes, condensers, addition funnels or other compatible accessories when used with the correct flange lid and fittings. Flasks and lids using the same flange size are fully interchangeable, supporting flexible laboratory setup across compatible reaction systems. The range includes nominal capacities from 250 mL through to 20,000 mL, supporting small laboratory reactions through larger preparation and pilot plant scale work. These flasks are suitable for chemistry laboratories, research facilities, university teaching laboratories, synthesis workflows, sample preparation areas, process development laboratories and pilot plant workflows.
Users should confirm the correct nominal capacity, flange bore size, lid type, clamp, seal, support setup, stirrer clearance and heating method before ordering or use. Glass reaction vessels should be handled carefully. Avoid sudden temperature changes, uneven heating, mechanical shock, incorrect clamping or unsupported vessel loading. Pressure, vacuum, heating and chemical compatibility should be confirmed against the complete reaction setup and approved laboratory method before use. This item is supplied as the selected round bottom reaction flask with flat flange joint only. Lids, flange clamps, O-rings, gaskets, stirrers, heating mantles, stands, condensers, probes and additional reaction accessories are not included unless specified separately.
LabChoice Australia supplies Round Bottom Reaction Flasks with Flat Flange Joints in BORO 3.3 glass for chemistry laboratories, research facilities, universities and process development environments requiring practical wide neck glass reaction vessels.
