Description
The Crystal Structure Teaching Models, also known as chemistry lattice structure models, are designed for classroom and laboratory demonstrations of common crystal arrangements. This range includes models for diamond, graphite and sodium chloride, allowing teachers and students to compare different structural arrangements in a clear visual format. The diamond model supports teaching of covalent network structures, helping students visualise how carbon atoms are arranged in a three-dimensional crystal lattice.
The graphite model supports teaching of layered carbon structures, helping demonstrate how graphite differs from diamond despite both being forms of carbon. The sodium chloride model supports teaching of ionic lattice structure, helping students understand the regular arrangement of sodium and chloride ions in a crystal. These models are useful for lessons covering chemical bonding, crystal lattices, material properties, molecular structure, ionic compounds and allotropes of carbon.
Each model is supplied in a plastic box, supporting convenient storage, classroom organisation and protection when the model is not in use. This product range is suitable for school science laboratories, chemistry classrooms, university teaching laboratories and general educational environments requiring practical visual aids for chemistry instruction.
Users should handle the models carefully and store them in the supplied plastic box after use to reduce the risk of damage, missing parts or surface wear. This product is intended for laboratory or educational settings only and should be used under appropriate teacher or laboratory supervision. This item is supplied as the selected crystal structure model in a plastic box only. Charts, worksheets, molecular model kits and additional teaching accessories are not included unless specified separately.
LabChoice Australia supplies Crystal Structure Teaching Models for school science laboratories, chemistry classrooms, university teaching laboratories and STEM education environments requiring practical visual aids for bonding and lattice structure demonstrations.
