Description
The Low Power Simple Light Source, also known as a basic MES lamp light source, is designed for teaching simple electricity concepts in school science and physics classrooms. This small light source uses a 2.5 V MES lamp screwed into a plastic base. The simple construction makes it suitable for introductory circuit work where students need a visible indicator of current flow.
The unit is supplied with two connected wires, allowing it to be connected into compatible low-voltage classroom circuits. It can be used with suitable cells, switches and basic circuit components under teacher supervision.
