Description
Hybridisation Oven is used for nucleic acid hybridisations, including Northern RNA blots or hybridisations, Southern DNA blots or hybridisations, Western protein blots, and molecular biology assays where sterile conditions are required and sample integrity must be preserved while heating to the exact temperature for the correct period of time.
Hybridisation Oven is a compact oven designed to hold up to 18 hybridisation bottles measuring 50 mm diameter x 300 mm long. Carousels can be supplied for most sizes of bottles, tubes, and containers, and can be removed easily from the oven as a complete unit for loading and unloading.
The carousel is driven by 2 rollers and requires no mechanical coupling. An optional rocking platform attachment is available and fits in the same way.
This unit is microprocessor controlled, includes a motion-interrupt safety cutout, and has a 28°C to 99.9°C control range. Also known as a hybridisation incubator, hybridization oven, or hybridization incubator.
